About WHO growth charts
The World Health Organization (WHO) growth standards describe how healthy children grow under optimal conditions. A percentile shows where your baby falls compared to other children of the same age and sex.
The 50th percentile is the median -- half of babies are above, half below. Any percentile between the 3rd and 97th is considered normal. What matters most is that your baby follows a consistent growth curve over time, not a single measurement.
